It’s a Colorful World – November Palette
Many years ago, while traveling with my family we came up with a “game” for the day where we’d pick a color and while we were out touring we would snap a picture when we saw the color. The picture could really be of anything; a door, a flower, some food, a painted wall, a sign. It’s amazing how many pictures each of us would find, and how artsy some of them were! For instance, when touring Istanbul, I picked the color red. It was everywhere, from flags hanging proudly to the bright red trolly in the Taksim neighborhood. I even found this very random red chair, on the side walk just waiting for someone to sit in.
Picking a color or color palette to hunt for during the day, week or month is a great way to get your eyes open and really SEE THE WORLD around you! With a color goal in mind, you won’t believe how much more you will notice! It really does open your eyes.
November 2018 Color Palette
So, to celebrate our colorful world, I’ve decided to create a monthly palette as inspiration to help you see your world around you. Save the palette of the month picture below and when you are out and about or just around the house and you see one, some or all the colors, snap a picture or make a quick sketch. Post on social media or send me an email. I can’t wait to see your November images!
